Obsidian sits in the foothills on the south side of Henderson, inside the Roma Hills community. Blue Heron's Roma Hills page describes Obsidian as set among the McCullough Mountains and rising above the desert floor with views across the Las Vegas Valley, and its 2020 announcement described the community as carved into Black Mountain's foothills. The builder lists the location as the Henderson Foothills.
Current listings are on Dragons Eye Drive, Magnum Cliff Court, Diamond Rim Court and Lapis Ledge Court. The Clark County Assessor records the lots as Obsidian Mountain Phase 1 (Plat Book 155, Page 42) and Obsidian Mountain Phase 1 Amd (Plat Book 159, Page 85). City of Henderson address records file the addresses on Dragons Eye Drive under the same two subdivision names, and current listings there describe the homes as part of Obsidian at Roma Hills; one of them names Blue Heron as the builder. The MLS uses the plat names rather than "Obsidian at Roma Hills". A different subdivision, Obsidian in Summerlin Village 21, is recorded under another name in Las Vegas ZIP 89138 and is not part of this page.

The September 29, 2026 snapshot holds five listings. They were built between 2020 and 2024 and range from 4 to 6 bedrooms and from about 6,350 to 7,690 square feet. Listing descriptions mention double-height great rooms, pocketing glass walls, wine rooms and pools, and several describe views of the Strip and the valley. Three of the current listings are on the courts off Dragons Eye Drive (Magnum Cliff, Diamond Rim and Lapis Ledge) and two are on Dragons Eye Drive.
Clark County Assessor parcel records put the current listings on lots of about 0.52 to 1.17 acres, with three of the five at 0.91 acres or more. Hillside lots vary in slope and view corridor, so the usable yard and the view from the main living level can differ a great deal between two lots of the same size. City of Henderson zoning maps the lots as RS-1 with a Hillside overlay, and all five current listings fall inside the city's hillside overlay area, so grading, walls and pools on these lots follow the city's hillside standards.
