Las Vegas Schools — Homes by Zoned Area

Browse the Las Vegas-area schools we cover and see homes for sale within each attendance area. We don’t rate schools: each school’s state data is on the Nevada Report Card, and CCSD Zoning Search shows which schools serve a specific address. Zoning varies by street — confirm it before relying on it for enrollment decisions.

How do you verify the schools for a home?

Use the exact residential address in CCSD’s official Zoning Search. A nearby school, ZIP code, community name or listing description does not guarantee assignment. Confirm the school year and keep the result with the home’s address and the date checked.

  1. Match the property. Search its street address and unit, then verify the returned location. Do not substitute a model home or a neighboring parcel for a new home.
  2. Confirm the assignment and year. Check elementary, middle and high school separately. Ask about adopted changes affecting the year you intend to enroll.
  3. Resolve missing or uncertain results. The CCSD Demographics, Zoning and GIS office provides a parent/guardian Address Search Request and zoning-question contact. Use those resources when a new-construction address is missing, rather than guessing from the nearest school.

Can zoning change after a purchase? Yes. CCSD’s Attendance Zone Advisory Commission recommends boundary changes to the Superintendent and Board. A lookup is a dated assignment check, not a promise that the boundary will remain unchanged throughout ownership.

How are application-based schools different?

CCSD magnet programs use an application and selection process; an eligible application can enter a lottery when places are limited. A geographic preference is not a guaranteed seat. Nevada charter-school admissions have separate application and lottery rules under NRS 388A.453; confirm the individual school’s enrollment policy. For other attendance options, use the Open Enrollment link on CCSD’s zoning page and ask the District about current requirements, capacity and transportation.

Compare the programs and services relevant to your student using official school information. The alphabetical directory below helps you explore covered schools; it is not a quality ranking, admission decision or substitute for CCSD confirmation.
