The Vistas, Sparks Overview

The Vistas is a residential Sparks community west of Vista Boulevard and surrounding Los Altos Parkway. The neighborhood consists of just under 1,500 single-family homes overlooking all of Sparks and Reno, as well as part of the Spanish Springs Valley. The Vistas sit between D’Andrea on the southern side and Wingfield Springs to the north.

Minutes away from The Vistas is Sparks Galleria. The galleria includes Costco Wholesale, Best Buy, Home Depot, Ross, Cost Plus World Market, and Bed Bath and Beyond. Restaurants like Gourmelt, Tha Joint Sushi and Grill, Blind Onion Pizza & Pub, and Red Robin populate the galleria. Across Pyramid Way, Walmart Supercenter and Kohls hold storefronts. Fitness Connection is in the southern end of Sparks Galleria, offering late-night hours to members. The popular Lighthouse Coffee is in Aspen Glen Shopping Center next to the Northern Nevada Medical Group. A few minutes from that is Spanish Springs Center with more dining options like Squeeze In, Pizza Baron, Los Compadres, and Sneakers.

Also near the Vistas are the Spanish Springs Library and Lazy 5 Regional Park. The park offers large fields for soccer, a volleyball court, and a water play area. Spanish Springs Skatepark is in the same parking lot as the park, one of the only recreational areas of its kind in the area. Golden Eagle Regional Park and Sports Complex is southeast of the Vistas, one of the biggest sports parks in all of Nevada. The park is entirely made up of artificial turf and provides six softball fields, two baseball fields, little league fields, a stadium-size football or soccer field, and two multi-use fields. Red’s Golden Eagle Grill is in the center of the softball fields where they’ll serve you the best ballpark food in town between innings.
