Caughlin Ranch Elementary School is one of the highest-ranking primary schools in the state. This pre-kindergarten-6th grade establishment is home to over 590 students and produces some of the top test scores in Nevada. Darrell C. Swope Middle School is another highly-rated school of Washoe County. The school is also one of the most continuously growing schools. The 780 students attending Swope Middle School is up 10 percent in the last five years.
