Edgewater School Information

The Edgewater community is provided education by the second-largest school district in Nevada: the Washoe County School District. WCSD is home to over 64,000 students across the Reno-Sparks area of Nevada.

Roy Gomm Elementary School is a primary school with approximately 450 children from pre-kindergarten to the 6th grade and is located along the southern outskirts of the Edgewater neighborhood.

Darrell C. Swope Middle School consists of approximately 765 middle school students from 6th to 8th grade. This middle school is located about 1.3 miles east of the Edgewater neighborhood, roughly a 4-minute drive.

Reno High School consists of students in the 9th to the 12th grades. Approximately 1,715 students attend Reno High School. The school is approximately 2.5 miles east of the Edgewater neighborhood and takes about 7 minutes to drive there by car.
